Richard P. Tanos third novel, Toshomee  has been self-published through Trafford Publishing, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

A horrific, one car accident on the Trans Canada Highway just outside Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, in late October opens a door to another world for Brett Cole, a local Royal Canadian Mounted Police sergeant.  Because the victims were an American Congressman and his family from Minnesota, FBI Special Agent Lisa Hooks, from Grand Forks, North Dakota, joins Cole, which turns this investigation International.  The gruesome accident repeats itself, and it's not until Cole and Hooks meet up with an old Inuit Native, named Naam, that they are told about the legend of Toshomee.   Upon investigating the accident, Cole and Hooks are forced to take a trip deep into the remote stunning northern Manitoba wilderness, where they discover that the legend is in fact true.  A thrilling, suspenseful novel about finding the truth, dealing with natures elements, and discovering courage.  All three are needed to ultimately put to rest the danger and horror that was and still is called Toshomee.

Northern Manitoba, awesomely majestic in its October landscape, sets the stage for Sergeant Brett Cole of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.  His mission; a horrific one car accident on the Trans Canada Highway just outside Winnipeg, which leaves a U.S. Congressman and his family dead.  Disturbingly, two victims are without heads.  Because the congressman is currently under surveillance, FBI agent Hooks from Grand Forks quickly joins the investigation.  A local Inuit native, Naam, shares his story of the Toshomee legend to any who will listen.  When two similar accidents occur within hours of each other, and a huge yellowish tooth is suddenly discovered, buried deep in the mangled Ford Bronco's grille, the hunt is on.  Will they find that the legend of Toshomee is true?  Will they live to ell the legend again?
