Joyce Morgan
Some Hearts
Kelly McConnell may have won a gold medal during her equestrian career, but she
was never able to win in the game of love. Having her heart broken too many
times, she vowed never to gallop down that path again. Adam Emerson, a seasoned
musician, never imagined his perfect day would be interrupted with a flat tire,
but then again, he never dreamed that he would meet the perfect woman either.
Both happened on the same day! Torn apart by a tragic accident, would Kelly and
Adam find their way back to each other or could their hearts be lost forever?
Only some hearts know their way home.
Born and raised in southern Connecticut, Joyce started writing short
stories in the fourth grade. After graduating from Southern Connecticut State
University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Corporate Communications, Joyce
worked as a scriptwriter and production coordinator before she entered the legal
profession. During this time Joyce rode competitively, rescuing horses, and
dogs. Copper, her first equine rescue, was her best friend until he died in
2002. After a severe riding accident, Joyce decided to hang up her stirrups and
devote more time to her writing. She now lives in Connecticut with her two
children and a rescued beagle named Blue. Some Hearts is Joyce’s debut novel.
