Elaine Tanos
The Delbert Adventures
Elaine Tanos, born and raised in Southern Oklahoma, moved to
Florida, in 1990 and then to Coffeyville, in December of 2004. Her passion
is working with young children and over the years of substitute teaching in
Florida she became inspired to write seven children's stories, referred to as -
"The Delbert Adventures."
It's when Elaine met Mary "Pinkie" Atkinson from Coffeyville, her stories suddenly now had dramatic illustrations.

Illustrator Mary "Pinkie" Atkinson, a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, lives outside of Coffeyville, Kansas. Along with her husband Jim, she loves to write and illustrate. She has contributed illustrations to several children's home school readers
